Dear Praying Partners,

A warm-40 degree greetings from the Philippines! But with our first typhoon called "Ambo" hovering our country! What a contrast!

Just a quick report about what is going on in this ministry for the past weeks. Truly, God is on top of everything and making His way in the hearts of many people for the Gospel's sake. Although this ministry is not without any disturbances from the Enemy, it is by God's grace that we are able to move forward in faith!

The need of relocating is still a big challenge before us. We are still raising the funds to transfer to another location, at the same time, the pressure for us to vacate the place is intense. We appreciate you to remember this for us in your prayers.

As we are expecting it each week, we are seeing several new converts here, candidates for baptism are lined up although persecutions from their relatives are quite strong, our bonding with them make them stronger! Young people and adults are getting excited to be in our services along with their friends. We earnestly pray for each of them to contend for the faith.

April 13-14 were special nights for us because our Youth Choir presented "Once Upon the Cross" as their Annual (Post) Easter Cantata in our church. See the attached pictures. They had monologues and several songs about the sacrifice of our Lord at Calvary. The first night we had more than 190+ people and the second night, 160+. We saw a combined professions of faith in Christ of about 35 people! What a joy to see them raised their hands acknowledging their need of a Savior!

By April 28 - May 2 we will be attending the Summer Camp. We want to treat our 35 Youth Choir members for their efforts and I am asking your prayers for God's provision for the needed expenses. This Camp will deal with the Last Days. I prepared the Bible Study materials and with the cooperation of several preachers in our area, we aim to inculcate in their hearts the importance of being prepared for His coming, presenting their bodies as living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God.

Adding to this, 15 of those choir members are presently taking  basic Bible course as part of our ministry in training our own workers for the field. I seek your prayers for me as I lead them in God's direction. For the past three years now, God has been taking control of many things here at Good News Baptist Church & Ministries. I firmly believe it is somehow because people like you stand behind us and fighting for us through your prayers. In appreciation to that, we also DO pray for you the best we can.

God bless you all. Please write us anytime you can. We love you all in the Lord Jesus Christ!
