Dear Friends,

This has been a good month for us. This past month we have had four first time visitors and several visitors return to us. Our attendance has improved and the people are encouraged. We stay busy during the winter months by studying, making visits to shut ins and also calling them. I have also been subbing at the Christian School. I want to explain something about why I sub. The reason I work as a sub and Terra does as well is so that we can pay off what remains of our medical debt which we seem to see a crack of light in the tunnel, and also so we can get some other bills paid off concerning the house we are in. Our desire is to get this stuff from over our heads so we can put some money back one day for our retirement and also for an emergency fund. I also realize that one day it may be a necessity for me to go out and work a full time job while doing the work of the ministry and it is always good to show some other work history along with what I am doing now. Plus, you never know what God will have us to do when we organize the work in Nancy, Lord willing. So please I do not want anyone reading this and thinking ill of us or our sending Church I can assure you the work of the ministry is getting done and God is blessing our efforts. Speaking of subbing God continues to give inroads to ministering to these students at school. Kids come to me and ask advice and questions about the Scriptures and different issues of the day. Plus, I have liberty to speak openly of my relationship with Christ to these kids. Please pray for me that God will use me for his glory with these kids.

We have been looking around at different buildings and property in Pulaski County and it seems like the Lord may be leading us to stay where we are at for the time being. I am going to talk to a man that owns property next to the place where we are renting. Please pray if this is God’s will that He would give us a piece of property to build on. We think we might be able to build a metal building and finish it out for around $50,000 or so. That is without figuring in Land. Of course we know and realize that none of this will happen if it is not God’s will and honestly we do not want any part of this if it is not God’s will.

Terra and Zechariah are doing well. Terra has been up and down with sickness but, she hangs in there. Terra has made friends with Zechariah’s teacher and the teachers aides at Zech’s school and has talked too many of them about Church and their salvation; it is a real blessing to have such a wonderful helpmeet. Zechariah is starting to ask a lot of questions about God and Jesus Christ. I answer him the best I can with fear and trembling. I know that the God who saved me is merciful and can save Zechariah too. My greatest desire is to see my son saved and serving my Lord and Saviour. Please pray Terra and I will be the examples and teachers we should be. Also pray for me that while I am busy ministering to others that I would not neglect my own family’s spiritual needs.

Please pray for Billy and Sue Daulton that is Brother Jack’s son and daughter in law. Billy has been coming for two months and Sue has come twice while she was off work. Also pray for our commercials we have put on the air on two local stations. I have had a couple of friends call about them but, no one else as of yet. Pray that God will use it for His glory. Also pray for Sister Cleo as she still suffers from terrible headaches and please continue to pray for me. I am continuing to lose weight but, I have a long way to go.
