Dear Pastor and Church,

Phil 4:2-3 I beseech Euodias, and beseech Syntyche, that they be of the same mind in the Lord. And I intreat thee also, true yokefellow, help those women which laboured with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and with other my fellowlabourers, whose names are in the book of life. We send you greetings in the blessed name of Jesus Christ our Savior.

It appears that the conflict we had between some of our members is on the mend. We rejoice to see how the Lord has worked in the hearts of both parties and to see growth and grace in their lives. Please continue to pray for us as we are not ignorant of the devil’s devices.

The Muller family has custody of Sis Muller’s nephew. Linton is seven years old and has a lot to overcome. He is responding well to the love in the Muller home and is even beginning to open up some at church. Pray for the salvation of this little boy and his parents in South Africa.

We also request your prayer for Sarah Doherty. Sarah was hospitalized two weeks ago for a collapsed lung. Sarah was tested for both TB and CF and both tests came back negative. Doctors are both baffled and concerned about her condition. Sarah has no symptoms and so needs constant monitoring.

Many have inquired concerning the vote on the Lisbon Treaty. The Irish people defeated it soundly. About 75% of the people voted no. The members of the European Parliament are very upset at the outcome. Many of our politicians are calling for another referendum on the treaty later this fall. I believe that our law makers are under pressure from Brussels to get the treaty passed.

I finally received the bills from my insurance company for my chemo treatment and PET scan. The total cost for all of the treatment came to just under $15,750.00. My insurance company paid the entire amount. I do sincerely appreciate and covet your continued prayer for my health. My next scheduled appointment with Dr Madden is September 18th.

We sincerely appreciate all of the prayer for the Lord’s work here in Cork. May the Lord richly bless as you preach the unsearchable riches of Christ.

By His Sovereign Grace,
Bro Bob Ellis
