Dear Pastor, Brothers and Sisters,

In the name of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, I am sending you greetings from the Baptist works and your missionary Abraham Thomas in India. March 5th is the graduation of the seminary students and on March 6th to 9th there are special revival meetings and a Bible conference at our new seminary building. By the grace of God, last month revival meetings and house to house Bible study was a wonderful blessing. 282 people received Christ. At present I am taking a bank loan against my home in India to pay off the last payment of $16825.00 for the seminary building to continue this fast growing Baptist works without any difficulty coming against the present government license. These days the heathen government is looking for even very minor mistakes to stop the license and count us as a terrorist group. This money shortage happened through the devaluation of the American dollar and higher prices of the materials. Your prayers and encouragements are very important for me to do more for the glory of God.

February` update:

 

Again as I have reported before, the work of the Seminary is vital for the teaching of our Landmarks that keep the churches in agreement with the Lord’s command to the church, His Church. The young preachers and students attending the Seminary are guided by Brother Abraham and under his supervision are actively learning how to do mission work multiplying the arm of this faithful missionary. It is a work in practice and progress. We do not rely on numbers, however there are results in this kind of missionary plan that the Lord himself demonstrated during his earthly ministry. It is a church sent and authorized way of reaching the lost and dying world with the Gospel of Grace through cooperation and fellowship. The report this month shows how the Lord is blessing the efforts supported by our faithful supporting churches. Souls saved and new preachers graduated for God’s Glory to the work He has called them.

 

God is continuing to bless his faithful who have not departed from the faith once delivered to the saints. Bro Abraham does not just sit and wait; he goes to the people and gives all his time among the churches and other missionaries all over India. One of his main ministries is to teach and encourage the Landmarks that keep a church faithful and true in the practices of a New Testament Church of the Lord.

 

Brother Abraham is very burdened about the exchange rate that is devastating the expenses in India. Brother Abraham is committed to the success of the Seminary in India and the importance of it by investing his time and money even his home for the loan.
